Accompanied the parentals to Mustafa Centre in the afternoon in search of the perfect chapati to satisfy my father’s craving and mixed muruku to satisfy my mother’s craving. As expected, there were crowds of people and I felt suffocated at certain times. It was like playing bumper cars in there, trying to get through the pack of people while pushing the push cart. But we did manage to find the mixed muruku! In an economic-size bottle. Best. My father finally decided on getting chapati at a stall outside Mustafa Centre itself. Apparently, there was quite a queue there, which I took as a sign that the chapati there was of good standard. Lots of bird shots cause that was about the main thing that caught my attention. Anyway, turns out the chapati was not so bad afterall, if you minus the fact that the ayam masak merah and khema was smothered in oil. Erlack.
